I met with Ron Thompson last weekend...and his car is the SICKEST E39 I have seen to date...he has a CF rear diffuser and he said it was a PIA to install...and as far as the look...that is subjective...you only notice his a little because his car is LMB...if you do this to a Blk or CB car you dont get the full effect IMHO.
Regards
"M"

I think Ron's one is the CA made ACS style CF diffuser

But the one i post is more like a diffuser on a race car....i love how the ACS diffuser looks but i wish it was more aggressive

I have a CA CF diffuser which I hope I will find time to install this summer. No description how to install it but as far as I know a PITA. Blue Thunder also has it.
The abovementioned diffuser looks more aggressive and seems a lot easier to install.

other than for strictly aesthetics, i dont see the point in it. all it does is add more weight as its an add-on as opposed to a replacement, which doesnt make sense for a cf piece.

I looked at this also. But not sure how it will fit as he sells this for other cars aswell and it looks the same. I think you will need to do some cutting and drilling so thats a no go. These are for the Lotus Elise and they are fitted to these cars as they are less than a 1000kg I dont think us M5 lot have the problem of not having enough weight over the back wheels.
