Btw, here is my fastest lap of the weekend. There's still a lot of small details I need to work on, but I'm reasonably happy with it.

-Nope, he was faaaaast. He was about a half second a lap faster than me I think. Sometimes we would get sandwiched by traffic, but I never could maintain his pace. But I did toast a Shelby GT500 (the new one) and a 750+hp blown C5, so I don't feel too bad. And there were a few supercharged E46 M3s that were easy prey. The fastest BMW on track was a nicely maintained E36 M3 Lightweight. He dipped into the 1:57s a few times. It's a beautiful machine (and a good driver)!

Great video, thanks for posting. I was wondering what that station wagon up front was until I read the next posts. Smaller and faster than the old Vista Cruisers, wouldn't you say?

Any way to remote the mic to somewhere better to hear the engine?

That's funny because I was there last weekend too. That's my Avus blue M5 in the background of the picture you took of your coupe. BTW, the yellow exige nailed the right rear of the yellow Ferrari - lots of damage to the lotus but the ferrari came away with just some cosmetic damage.

-Yeah, a WRX in the right hands is a very fast little car.

As for a mic, well, it's kinda pointless since the S54 is so quiet. A camera pointed at the tach would be more helpful.
