Wheel Refinishing Northern Va?

Does anyone know of a good wheel refinishing shop in the northern va area? I can only find shops out in Maryland... Rather not go across the bridge if there's one closer.... Thanks!

wheel repair in VA

the closest shop I found was in maryland - in baltimore to be exact. I heard of this place through Reese at Fairfax Service Center. I will be giving them a try with my 19" HM2s. I will be having them fix the 2 front wheels and then re-chrome them. I am not sure if they have a website but I can get the number for you if you would like?

Thanks man.... I just confirmed a pickup with Wheel Finisher..They're coming out and meeting me at my job in Fair lakes tomorrow. It's only an additional $20 for them to come out from Rockville to pick up so I figured I'd go for it. It would cost me $20 in gas to go out there anyway. Plus, I really didn't have the time to go out there until late in the week or weekend. Hopefully, all should go well..... (fingers crossed). Good to know there is a place in Fairfax though... May use them next time... Hopefully there won't be!

wheel repair

Who are you going to use for wheel repair? Do you have the number because I would like to try them out if they can fix my wheels and then re-chrome them.

Thanks.

Wheel Refinisher

I went with www.wheelrefinishers.com 888.602.WHEEL. They just picked up my wheel today at my job... Said I should have it back by Thursday this week. Pretty good turnaround estimate and couldn't beat the fact that they come to you. The way my schedule is at work I wouldn't make it to Rockville until the weekend to drop off and the next for pickup. I'll let you know how well it turns out. I had two pretty bad scrapes on the lip of my wheel...

Got my wheel back...

I'd highly suggest wheel refinishers in Rockville, MD for refinishing, chroming and repairs. They came to my job in Fair Lakes, picked up my wheel and returned it yesterday. A two day turnaround! I had two pretty deep scrapes on the outside polished lip. The wheel looks like new now. They charged me $160 for it which isn't bad considering they picked it up and returned it. Plus, I was considering sending it away which would have been added shipping fees on top of the repair.

Having my wheels refinished by wheel worx between DC and Baltimore up on Maryland HWY 3.....about 40 minutes outside DC. Let you know how they do....they are taking out the bends and refinishing (repaint).

Wheel worx and Ye Olde Wheel Shop were recommended, the second shop had a 6 week wait!

I recently had great results done by "The Ole Wheel Shoppe" in Elkridge, MD. The disassembled my three piece wheels (Kinesis), straightened a bent rim, polished all the rims, reassembled, sealed, mounted and balanced the tires all at a good price. I had the wheel centers gold anodized at Alexandria Metal Finishers and shipped to the Wheel Shoppe. I was blown away by how great the wheels looked when I picked them up. Saved BIG Bucks over the cost of new rims!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

*****Highly Recomended*****

My rear shoes will need to be refinishied as well! I have two old M-Parallel 18's that I saved off my old car so maybe I can used them interim while the rear rims get the treatment - question is, what is decent shop that will both refurb and match the wheels so that all four look more or less identical? My fronts are pretty new and darker than rears!

That will be a somewhat of a challenge! The cosmetic crap that goes into making this car as close to perfect is time consuming and painstaking sometimes! Oh well!
