JFB: did u ever get the ///M5 logo on your nokia phone? Was it you that mentioned that there was a site where we can get the ///M logo? I'm tired of mine and really want to change it to the M5 but if I cant get that the ///M will do hehe

Everyone else: I tried sending www.boltblue.com the ///M5 logo

several times in bmp format hoping they will post it up for people to download but no success yet... Hey, what if we get everyone on the board to submit the ///M5 logo to boltblue and if they get enough people sending in the same thing maybe they will put it up. check out boltblue and tell me what u think. I'm pretty sure they still offer free logo downloading but they do charge for ring tones...

I figured out how to send logos to phones (current have the Ferrari logo on mine) in the US. You have to have SMS service enabled. once you do, go to www.wildsms.com and download their little program and register. it will give you 3 free messages (you have to give them a valid email address so you can enter the code). Select picture message and then browse image, and select the bmp or jpg file of you choice (in this case the M5 logo image). Once you do that, be sure to click on Operator Logo and then select your provider and type in your phone number. Within 3-5 seconds you'll have the message waiting on you phone and voila.

You can also "re-register" with another email address if you ahve one.

hmm.. I've got an M5 logo on my ericsson fone.. it's even easier to do it with Ericsson... just use the infared port on a laptop and beam it over... =)

By the way, on the Nokia's it only works for 8290 and certain networks on the 8260.. don't even think AT&T supports operator logos...

My father has a laptop and I might be able to do it. I would just need to know where to go and how to do it. But thanks Tfung

go look around on the ericsson site and look for instructions there... that's what I did... you need to make your logo exactly right.. I think the logo size has to be 72x14 pixels and in 1 bit color in bmp format... then you basically just match up the infared ports, and use your laptop to send the picture to the phone. After doing that, you should be able to set the logo on the phone as an operator logo
