used tire for spare?

anybody have any suggestions as to where i could obtain a used tire for a spare for my beast? i hate having to buy a new tire for a spare--even a $130 Kumho. i left my name with my service adviser at the dealer in case an m5 owner gets new tires at the dealership.

It's too bad that BMW didn't put smaller exhaust cans in the Beast as a lot of us have. Then they could have given us a full sized spare like I had in my old 540/6. I'm adding the SmarTire remote air sensors to my snow tires/wheels.

I'm sure someone on the here on the bd could help you....

I will say that having a "spare" is a good idea even if you don't carry it with you... (I bot an extra set of used wheels and tires and run 275s on all 4 corners as a result I had 4 spares)

I recently got a screw on of my rears....I simply put my spare on and took the flat tire into the shop to have patched....

On the road, I keep a tire plug kit...and an electrical air pump... I don't like the idea of that mobility system junk in my tire...

That's kind of a personal thing to be telling us, isn't it?
