Eagle F1 GS-D3 prices

I was checking out prices on 275/35x18 GS-D3's at discounttire.com (Discount Tires/America's Tires), and San Diego area price was $249, O.C. was $222, and L.A. was $301. Isn't that kind of a wide variation for one company's stores? Drive from LA to OC and save about $350 including tax on a set of 4.

Back in Nov, I paid 197/tire for 275/35/18 at TireRack and that was before a $40 cash card from Goodyear
