So I called my local stealer, and the guy says "not available, maybe April 1st with new pricing". So I call another dealer that is a little farther away from me, and they quote me 1195.
What gives ? Who is giving me bum dope?

$1195 is pretty much the standard for the last several years. Most mark up to take home the difference.
And remember, this is maintenance, not warranty- = 1 oil change every 15k miles, and 30k, 60k, 90k service inspections which = 1 inspection every 2 or more years. Not so sure it's worth it- maybe I should edit out this latter opinion.
Apparently the selling point is the brake job. I have 29k miles on my car, and the maintenance plan is set to expire in the beggining of April. I don't drive my car enough to actually get the green bar oil change, but instead get the low mileage annual oil change. I don't want to waste my money, but I'd love the peace of mind that whatever happens to the car int he next 2 years (already am CPO'd) would be taken care of.

oh yea brakes.... this is true... I've heard tho that some dealers say "its not covered." So perhaps check with your local dealer if it would be covered under the maint plan and get that in writing. Then buy the plan from the dealer with the lowest price on the maint plan, since it will follow the VIN, not keep you at that or any specific dealer.

So, this is easy. 29k and you brakes are __X__ mm thick.
In 2 years, at __Y__ miles per year your pads will be:
X- ((10-x)/29000 * 2Y)
If this number is less than 2mm, or if the rotors will be under 30.4mm, then you will need brakes and this is a deal.
If you will not wear out the brakes, why deal with the irritation of seeing the dealer for service...
Well I did it. Took less than 10 minutes. I'm treating this like insurance, not something you want to have to pay for, but just in case, you'd be glad you had it. My car already had the CPO, so for the most part I feel comfortable for the next 2 years.
I guess the part that worries me the most is that after speaking to dealer #1, twice in 6 months and the sales manager not knowing if it was still available, I was able to complete the transaction in 10 minutes from another dealer

Tell you what- get the M mobility kit replaced, and the brakes and coolant flushed and you will only be loosing $2-400 on the deal. 29k miles you haven't even done inspection 1 yet, right?
(They tend to forget the coolant needs flushing every 3 years and the brakes every two)
Your CPO is a whole 'nother story... worth having.
Good luck
