Lowered on Bilstein PSS9's (Pics)

I had my PSS9's put on about a month ago so here's a quick review of my thoughts so far. The ride quality is very nice and is noticeably different than stock. The handling is much tighter which gives me the feeling that I have more control of the car. In-town driving around high speed turns the car is definitely more planted with less roll. I haven't had the chance to do any hard cornering yet.

I've had to adjust the rebound setting a few times to get my desired feel. I'm currently at 7 front/rear and will probably stay between 5-7 just for the reason that the roads in Atlanta can be a little harsh. Even at 7 it's quite stiffer than the stock suspension.

I've had to adjust the height twice so far since I was getting slight rubbing on the rears. The ride height is very low but I am now not getting any rub. The BBS CH wheels are 19"s and I'm running 5mm spacers up front to fill out the wheel fender a little better.

Sorry about the not so good pics. I took the pics at the worst time of the day with sun at noon overhead. Comments on the ride height welcomed. Too low or looks ok???

Your car is very nice by the way. The 5mm spacers in the front looks good, probably something I should consider eventually to get the tire out there just a little bit more.

The ride height is a bit too low for me IMO. It's really tucked and I would think a 1/2" gap to 1" gap would look better....it's like you have no space what-so-ever.

Very nice setup though. PSS9s definitely on my list of possibilities.

Looks very agresive and great!! The spacer did a nice job on the front!!
Just wondering...I'm also thinking about the PSS9's on my 03...but want to keep it near stock or just about a 1/2 inch or more drop on the front...

How much ride height is there available on the threaded body on the Bilsteins? How much drop would you have with the threaded spring perch adjusted all the way up?

Thanks

Christopher

I'd raise that up just a touch more, so you can get your finger inbetween the fender and tire.
