Leather covered dash option?
I'm been looking for E39 M5s and really like the leather covered dash... Question I have is just that... I have only seen this on 2000 model year and never on 2001 or newer. Did BMW offered leather covered dash option for 2001 or newer M5s? I really like this option but like to purchase 2001 or newer. Little touches like that makes a car so much more special...

Somewhere in the thread mentioned if you followed it was the fact that only 2000 M5s with sport interiors could be ordered with the leather dash. It was rare and discontinued for US models.

i have sport interior with extended leather :P and its 2000

I have the Lux/comfort interior with Extended Leather ... oh and it is a 2000

Prior to 09/2000 - either luxury or sport could be ordered with complete leather, but the interior choice didn't dictate it (though I think most lux interiors had complete leather, it was an option).
After 09/2000 - luxury _always_ has complete leather, sport doesn't have complete leather anymore.
There is no such thing as "complete leather option" after 09/2000 - the type of interior determined it after MY00.
