Here is my first official contribution to this site, I've been mooching long enough.
First here is a picture of the wheels to be mounted:
Beyern Multi Spoke (silver) 18* 9.5 ET25 (bought for the rear) 3" chrome lip
I looked long and hard before I finally found the wheels that I wanted for my wagon:
Just to clarify, I bought this pair of wheels with a 25mm offset for the rear of the wagon and decided that before I ordered my front ones I would test fit them in the front with a spacer. I am looking to have the 3" lip up front which is only offered on the 9.5" wide version of the rim not the 8.5".
The spacer I used for this test fitment is one I had sitting around and measured in at 6.75mm, but the objective was to see if the 15mm version of these same rims would fit the front.
This is a picture taken from above of the rim mounted.
On to the pictures that I'm sure most really care about
As you can see in the pictures there is about a 2mm clearance between the wheel/tire and the strut housing. Being that the spacer used is not up to the 10mm that I would have to order, it is evident that there will be ultimately more clearance.
Please keep in mind that the car was elevated and not weight bearing when these pictures were taken.
I am going to be ordering my front two wheels/tires in 18*9.5 with a 15mm offset for the front, as I am not a fan of spacers and the potential problems they could bring.
Oh...the tires are Toy Proxy4s
