Oily Engine
I'm noticing a definite film of motor oil forming on top of my engine, around the "wer" of the big "M Power" badge. Anyone else have this?

Take it in...
Is your cap on?
Are you sure it's oil, not Transmission abd Hydralic fluid?
Do you feel any degradation in Power?
Could be a leaky gasket, but I'd take it in.
If the oil starts getting everywehre it will be a major pain for you.

I did take it in, and the dealer service rep says it's nothing to worry about. He asked if I seem to be losing oil unduly, or dripping any on the ground - no to both. He just said to keep an eye on it. Didn't seem too worried.

In answer to the questions - the cap is on, and it's obviously oil. There is no way it could be trans fluid, unless anyone can think of a way a patch of trans fluid surrounded by dryness could appear on the very top of the engine.
