Zymol Engine Oil (Zyntek)

Check this out......http://www.zymol.com/zyntek.htm
They are VERY expensive.......cost about $99 (US) per five liters.
just wondering are they any good?!

Okay, we're talking $20/liter for oil from a company that's decidedly not an oil company.

What's in it? Where's the composition of the oil? Where's their wear test results? Their site says "ASTM tested" - yeah, big deal, where are the numbers?

That's something well over 3x per quart what you'll pay for something like Amsoil, which has so far as I can tell about the best chemistry out there.

Sounds pretty ridiculous to me.

I don't care how good it is. Once you've reached "good enough" all additional $$ is wasted. And the synthetics we're putting in our cars are definintely "good enough". You engine may break some day, but I can virtually guarantee it won't be a lubrication-related failure (unless you run it out of oil, of course, or run it on extremely dirty oil.)
