Did read somewhere many B10s use this head gasket as upgrade

If so,it also has 94mm bore....
And I think can handle a bit more than the M62 head gasket...
That is what I said , but the Sub Ling up there at VAC ,first would not tell me the BMW part numbers he was sending me as " it was a secret" .WTF I only spent almost 20K with the damn shop on that damn motor , a secret,HUH? Everyone knows that the Victor Reinz company makes all gaskets for BMW and Mercedes,I believe..If he had told me the parts number I would have told him that if what they told me , the engine builder VAC , was in fact true that the M62 gaskets would not work with 94mm pistons. That is what you get when you deal with a "Salesman" rather than someone who understands a motor.
As far as I know the S62 gasket should fit,but I am not a mechanic just a part time mechanic out of necessity.
Hopefully today Tony, the owner of VAC will figure out WTF is going on as they did build the motor and got paid handsomely and on time for ICS's mistakes by me....
Of Course, I will see what the hell is going on when we pop the motor open ,but I wanted all the parts and pieces there at the shop when we tear the motor apart as I plan on having it back together the same day , late in the day of course.
I also asked why the failure to begin with at only one Bar boost and just like someone told me earlier ( That does not work for VAC ) they mentioned the tune could have caused the failure.NOT LIKELY.....More likely the pinheads did not check the torque on the heads after the initial heat cycle thus why I found three studs less than the torque #'s they should have been when I pulled the covers off and put the torque wrench to them....

ARP's should not need a re-torque, or did you not use ARP?

often headgaskets need the re-torque, not the studs.

The studs should be torqued and then streched by whatever degree number the manufacturer indicates.

All headstuds need re-torqued no matter what they are when running boost through a motor. Like Matt above said the gaskets need it after getting hot.

ARP does not make fastenings for the S62 or M62 blocks, Raceware does, but same difference. These do not stretch at all.

That is the case as I understand it that after the initial heat cycle the torquing is to make sure the head gasket is seated all the way which in my case was not done I am sure as they did not do anything else correct to my car.( ICS Performance that is.... )
These studs are torqued in 3 different steps ultimately arriving at 42 foot pounds.
These studs since they do not stretch can be used again....
Mr.X prefers these type of bad *** steel studs....He told me what type of steel to use and that is what Raceware uses....
My good friend Tim is going to help me once I hear back from Tony at VAC Motorsports about what gasket they actually used in my car.For all I know after they had to pull the motor down at VAC while they were building it they could have switched to 92mm pistons, but I doubt that as they would have had to push the darton sleeves out ,push new ones in and hone the new ones to 92mm...
Here is a picture of the block and pistons after the S62 crank had been removed and the 4.6L Alpina crank had been installed.M62 single chain sprockets....

HMMMM,that is what Paul at VAC said to me when they put the motor together.Oh well Raceware makes top notch stuff at least.
Tony never got back with me either to tell me what the hell they put in the engine as far as a head gasket today either.
I guess I will have to take it apart and see for myself.Kind of a shame that the engine builder can not seem to help out in this situation.
I will take a bunch of photos to show the work being done and the work that VAC did for their $$$$$....
