As you know I live in the swamps of Eastern North Carolina and if I had a duck call for a sound effect I most likely would be shot by some hunter mistaking me for the real thing with the luck I have with this car.
Well when this whole project got out of hand in Connecticut and I needed help Mr.X was contacted by a few people that knew him and he then contacted me.He asked me to have the car moved to a shop in South Florida so they could go through the car and make sure everything was correct by the time he was able to make his way to South Florida to do the tune. The shop asked me not to mention them by name until the car was finished and back to me in North Carolina as in the Forced Induction street tuning world there is definitely a bunch of trash talk that goes back and forth. So I out of respect did so and as well kept Mr.X well Mr.X , as not to drag him into the petty little girl gossip that goes on in different car forums.Well the car got back to me in North Carolina and everyone knew that the shop was in fact Active Autowerke in Miami that went through the car and cleaned up the mess that was created in Connecticut. ( Actually someone saw my car at the shop and the cat was let out of the bag before my car left Florida as they , AA do not work on E39's normally )
So That is the story and it is really no Mystery as I am just out of respect to those who helped me I am keeping their anonymity until I am told otherwise. Thanks again to those who helped me, you know who you are , get my car moving forwards instead of backwards
Here is the car on my own lawn.Well it was on my own lawn briefly now it is in Thomasville , N.C. at Speedwerks for a month almost and a big thanks goes out to Andy and crew for taking my car to the next step so Mr.X himself can fly in to tune the car AlpHa N. I know that as well , a freaking impressive photograph of a scary volcano that has awoken.I was reading that the last time the behemoth awoke it rumbled for a year?
David, I am glad everything is moving along smoothly, and that you are in good hands (Allstate picture). Thanks for sharing and can't wait to hear about the Alpha-N tune.
