If you're like me, these skills were massively refined during the 70's and 80's days of 55mph speed limit stuff. Of course in modern times, you never really know what car will be out there. My local county sheriff has a C6 Z06 in their stable even.

Sounds like you're really getting close on the car finally David. I like the idea of the charge piping re-do. That sharp angle on the outlet of the blower is a definite pressure drop that can be reduced. I'm sure the guys there are excited to see such a neat car to work on.

Point well taken on the Corvette driving sheriff. We have a Toyota driving sheriff as well as a suburban driving sheriff due to drug confiscations I think.Yes , I have been driving a very long time with a heavy foot on the gas.
Andy seemed to be excited to be able to help me out with this last part of the car's tuning and fitment. He is looking forward to meeting Mr. X as well as he does not get to speak to very many Tuners about a car in his shop that are working in Poland , I believe is what Mr. X said to me , then on to Asia , then here to the USA to conduct business Then finally to my car in the remote spot of Thomasville N.C.
I as well am excited as Mr.X and I have been communicating since 2008 , thanks to 540is and Blue Thunder , and I as well have never been face to face with him yet.

David, are you still going with a stand-alone engine management system? If so, which unit?

Mr.X is going to do an Alpha N Tune on the car in the end of April early May.The car is at Speedwereks in Thomasville N.C. at the moment and Andy and crew are going through the whole car to add the needed pumps and injectors and crank pulley as well as make sure everything else looks good.Andy has found things that needed to be attended to that were not on the list that is why I took him the car in March as I suspected that not all would be as it should in the engine bay.

The car is gaining ground.Fuel rail is fixed with the proper 6AN fitting, rather than a NPT 3/8" nut that was fitted by the pinheads at ICS Performance. The injectors are installed , the "Girlie" pink 779cc Bosch ones. The Crank pulley is installed , 7.75" diameter. The fabrication for the charge piping closest to the plenum is almost finished and the material for the charge piping on the SuperCharger side is on it's way to the shop. The fabrication for the new fuel pump bracket is underway.Andy at Speedwerks Porsche Racing, High Performance Auto Specialists: SpeedWerks, North Carolina is taking his time to make sure it is all OK for Mr.X......
