Lots of pics when you install oil catch can. Did you a find space for it?
I just got back from my mission to the VET in Raleigh N.C. to see about my pup. The catch can is here and tomorrow I will begin to ponder where the hell to fit it.... BTW , the pup is doing better than we thought .It makes no sense actually as the 15th my local VET has these horrid numbers for the pups ( 10 year old pup ) for her kidney values which would prevent her from getting the surgery she needs to repair her ACL in her right rear leg.Today the VET at the specialty hospital had much , much lower numbers and the ultrasound on the kidney showed no damage. Anyway in two weeks I return to Raleigh and have the dog checked out again as well consult a surgeon.... In the mean time I saw these cars in Raleigh that sparked my interest.....

About 4 years ago I had a very bad experience with a vet at clinic where we had been regular customers and my then 10 year old Bengal Cat here in NYC. Long story short, after the vet operated on my cat he announced that my cat had cancer and would be dead inside a month if we didn't immediately put him on an intensive (and expensive) monthly (weekly?) regimen of chemotherapy. My wife (daughter of a veterinarian) said the hell with that, we'll just bring him home and make him as comfortable as possible and let nature take its course, just as long as he was not in pain. Our big old Bengal Cat is still with us today and while he is aging, he's no where anywhere near needing to be put down. I shudder to think of what I would needlessly have put my friend through had I listened to that vet. I recently had occasion to see a highly regarded veterinarian who once belonged to that clinic (now in bankruptcy I'm pleased to report) who told me that they was notorious for ordering unnecessary procedures as part of their revenue generation plan. The ICS of veterinarians?

It was my initiation to go to the Raleigh , actually Cary N.C. specialty hospital , to make sure the prognosis of the failing kidneys was in fact correct. My VET dropped the ball on this one . ( Oh yeah , I heard that Fat Al AKA DynoFlash AL is no longer at ICS and it is down to two mechanics and George and George's wife , HMMMM.... ) Anyway the VET in Cary , told me with in 100.00 of what the cost would be , albeit it was not cheap.Visit , complete lab work , ultra sound .... At least there is a chance now that the dog can have the ACL repaired and her kidneys are not failing. Now back to cars , my project for the day is to fix the Aquamist Flow Meter from leaking by putting the new compression fittings on as well as the 4mm hose that Jeff Howland sent me.Richard from Aquamist is sending me the compression fittings for the High Flow Valve as well.( He is in the X-mas spirit ) The catch can is here as well and I am going to try to be Houdini in fitting it where there is apparently no place to fit it. Gotta go walk my walk, I have been slack the last couple of days worrying about my pup's health.....
I am going to my friends fabrication shop right now and see if we can make a bracket come off of the Supercharger since there are three 3/8" or 1/2" holes threaded already into the Vortech and I could leave enough hose to be able to pick the catch can up and empty the oil.Not a lot of accessible places in my engine bay..........
The pre-cat O2 sensors both were cut and spliced like this , will it ever end? Oh yeah I heard that George at ICS called Karl at Active Autowerke to ask me to quit raking ICS performance over the coals. HMMMM..... Not likely..... I still keep finding crap and I keep posting it on the internet.... I am going to drop the exhaust and put new bungs in place so the OEM wire harness connectors and the OEM O2 sensor will join with out and wires being cut and spliced.I ordered the bungs today......
These 'experts' were the ones who dyno'd the S3. I had to threaten to drive off the dyno unless they followed my directions (more fans, etc.). Very difficult to deal with. Also tried to sell me on all kinds of 'upgrades' for the S3 based of course upon all the wonderful things they had done for you, David. Anybody wonder why I'm never going back ever again?
