I am sooo glad it is back in her , although unfinished , home.( De-humidifier running and the insulation guys come in a week to get the ceiling done ,then the A/C goes in the room.) Once Richard from Aquamist gets back to me so I can get the correct parts to fix the W / I system ,then I will tackle another minor glitch......

So the Aquamist HFS-5 system that was installed at ICS , that was leaking like a sieve and was not included as part of my tune anyway, I am taking apart piece by piece to figure out the malfunction .So, I start looking at the diagrams and pictures and things did and do not add up.The fittings are not correct for the Aquamist that connect to the DIRTY reservoir tank nor the fitting for the inlet to the pump. The pump head screws were loose for some reason and that is possibly one of the sources of leaks. So I am wondering is this a pieced together miss mosh from used other parts or what??? I will never know the truth except that it was not pieced together from a brand new kit as the fittings would be different. I am going to pull the trunk apart Saturday and locate the relays I am not able to locate , disassemble the rest of the electronics and check it all oput. Then I will put it all together correctly.Mr. X said it was OK to use a 50-50 mixture as long as it is atomized extremely well. #1 NOT THERE , #2 CAN NOT FIND,YET , #3 LOOSE , # 4 MISSING IN ACTION..... Very Leaky..... Car runs great though,,,, Thanks Mr.X if you are out there.....

What a mess! The guys at Howerton Engineering are really helpful when it comes to custom Aquamist installations. You might give Jeff Howerton a call and see what he recommends. Check out the website for replacements for the missing pieces if you can't find them!

Thanks for the tip Peter. I wasn't aware of a good domestic outfit specializing in Aquamist.

David, Earlier you wrote that you installed Bosch greentops, what number is on the injector? 280150558, 280150803, 280150810, etc

There are a few green top injectors I was just wondering which was used.

42 pound low impedance injectors , I believe they are low impedance..I will be in that area in a week or so tracking down a small fuel leak I can smell and when I do I will get the Bosch # off of them....Out the door to do my daily exercise.......

I have been through the whole Aquamist system and read the manual I down loaded and now I know how to go about repairing the mess and at least get it up and running. Then I will have to adjust all the Parameters but , it is written fairly well in the PDF I downloaded..... I will hopefully have all the pieces and parts in a week or so.... Thanks for the tip about Howerton in California as I had forgotten about them actually.... David C

I was out in the garage the other night and found a boxes of the 280150803 injectors which flow around the 42lbs.
16+ of them all flowed and matched, cheap if you ever need them.
