More insult to injury

When the PREVIOUS SHOP put my camshafts back in to place in doing so they chipped 3 out of 4 of them I just found out . No metal pieces were found so that means they knew they were chipped when the PREVIOUS SHOP put them in the car. Also when the PREVIOUS SHOP sent the cams to Mr. Elgin in California they wrapped the cams in news paper and put them in a box , cost me an extra 200.00 for all the dents to be fixed.Mr. Elgin ,AKA Elgin Cams, could not believe that a car shop would be so irresponsible in the packing of the camshafts.... Active will fix the problem, seems like Active should of been the place to trust in the first place...

Freekin speechless. I know how you feel and what you are going through. Similar shite happened to me with my previous shop. But when you do find a honest and professional shop, the fun stuff starts happening. Hope all is well David.

Thanks for asking, I just got my second Neupogen shot and first Procrit shot yesterday. I am doing my 17th out of 24 shots Friday. I have no energy most of the time and by the end of the day I can get pretty grumpy. But, the Virus is no longer detectable and my liver enzymes are normal so the Hell I am going through seems to be doing the job. I have read more books in the past four months than I have read in the last four years, it seems. July the 3rd will be the last shot and the 11th will be my last of the Ribavarin.I have actually gained some weight back , I quit trying to be the perfect macro biotic eater and got sensible and eat what ever I can when ever I can within reason. My hepatologist is happy with me so I figure as long as he is happy I am doing everything well enough. As far as the car goes Active Autowerke , Karl in paticular, has been nothing but , the best and most honest person I have dealt with when it comes to automobile. No wonder Mr. X and Karl are friends.Needless to say Mr. X went way out of his way to help me out. The car is in the correct place now and I hope if anything good can come out of this mess people will see the difference between an accident waiting to happen shop VS a shop that cares about their business ethics. As a reminder the PREVIOUS SHOP wanted a wriiten gurantee that I would not sue them when I pulled the car out of their shop after paying them 20K. Afternoon is here and I am getting Grumpy, sorry.....

But I would assume with the right attorney you could still go back on them?

Most likely could but , relative cost to reality basis says not really worth it in the end. What will do as much good is for me to flood the internet with the truth about the PREVIOUS SHOP when the proper time arrives. Most people would not think too highly of a shop that would not release a car with out a signed guarantee from the owner not to sue said shop especially since said shop had the car in it's position for over 3 years and the car still did not run properly. I am a trusting person and got taken that is the actual truth. My fault in a way as I guess I did not due my Due Diligence well enough , actually there is no guessing about it... Mr. X and friends are taking care of me properly.....
