It's great to see that your up and about and making progress with the new team. I'm sure you've heard this many times before, but with regard to your health, that has to be your #1 priority. Take that as gospel from some one who's been in a similar situation. Don't rush it and listen to your doctors.
Thanks for checking in. Glad things are moving along again!
What's the story on the intercooler and by-pass valve?
Dave
Well , Mr. X did not like the small (EXPENSIVE) intercooler ,too restrictive in his thoughts and the by pass valve was not doing it's job well enough for Mr.X's liking again , too much blow back , so bigger by pass valve. Exhaust made a bit bigger after the cats to let the car breath. All that has been done to create the car that Mr. X felt he needed to tune the car properly .Of course there have been other changes and the car has been gone through from the thermostat to the exhaust. He is not trying to do anything except get my car running properly as he has seen the drama I was put though already and with the help of a few board members he , Mr. X , agreed to help me out. I am in no hurry obviously as I am stuck at home for the next 15 weeks taking my poison to kill the virus that has been hiding in my system for the last 39 years. When Mr.X gets done the car will be shipped to my home by intercity lines and in the late summer I will hopefully get to go to VIR with my buddies and make a fool out of myself , which is all I ever wanted actually , so long ago.....

I am doing the very best I can in listening to the doctors . I stray on proper diet from time to time but , that is about the extent of my rebellious side to my situation. Self preservation is my first point of order. Thanks Ray for the words of wisdom......
Great to hear from you David. Good to hear your car is in the hands of "Mr.X" (I have no idea who he is). I pray and hope your therapy kicks some butt.
Car is tuned but , they are not happy with a little noise. So either this week or next, really does not matter to me because I am sick most of the time these days, they are going to see what the noise is and fix it. I am very glad it is where it is as there is trust. Car made about 525 or so at the wheels on the 7 1/8 crank pulley , not the new larger crank pulley that was just made by Buldogge.....
Thanks for checking in and best wishes for your health (first) and your car (second)!
Sorry about the side effects of interferon and ribavirin...not that it is much of a condolence at the moment when you are not feeling well but I'm glad that the genotype is type 2 so you you don't need 48 weeks of the stuff. I've had patients on the 48 week course...sucks.
DAvid, I forgot, what sixze are the new pulleys and what is the psi# goal? Great to hear about the tune.
The crank is the 7 1/8" and the SC pulley, I think , is the 3.13" . 10PSI I believe is what I was told, the larger pulley gave it 13.5 PSI but , Mr. X did not like that combo and de-tuned for reliability and street usability. I trust his judgment in the matter .

Thanks for the thought, 14 weeks to go and it is hell actually as my system does not like the drugs at all but , the drugs are working that is what makes it all worth it. I should have cleared the virus by now actually as on my 3rd injection and 4th week of ribavarin I had come from 31,100,000 VL to only 320 VL and my liver enzymes were all back in the normal range. I know some poor folks who are on the 72 week program, so I feel fortunate .... The car is in great hands now and I do not have to concern myself with it one bit, which is a nice feeling.
