Just ordered my LeatherZ shift boot

I ordered the black leather shift boot with ///M tri-colored stiching from LeatherZ. Does anyone have this, or any other LeatherZ shift boot installed? If you do please post pics here. Once I get mine installed I'll post pics.

I really hope you are able to post pics of the boot when you get it, Bill.

What has kept my from ordering from that website is the workmanship that appears in the pictures. I can only wonder if their products will be better looking in person.

I have the alcantara shift boot from them to match my suede shift knob. They do good quality work.

Leather Z is awesome, I plan to get either a leather/M stitch like yours, or an alcantara with the same. Looking forward to pics and install tips!

Install is VERY easy. There is a plastic frame at the base leather boot that just snaps in and out of the center console easily.

The only issue I can see is if you have the OEM shift knob that has the leather attached to the boot itself. I used to have that, but have since changed knobs a few times. If you're planning to use your OEM knob that was connected the the leather boot, you will have to cut the leather where the base of the knob meets the leather shift boot.

One more tip, if you have never removed your original shift knob, you may be in for a treat - you will have to pull straight up with a decent amount of force to get it off. Watch out though, once it breaks loose you don't want to have all of that force hitting you on the chin Once I get the new boot from LeatherZ I will post pictures, but here is what my setup will be -

The official *before* picture

I was out taking pictures today, so thought I would post a *before* picture with the non-///M tri-colored stitching boot. BTW, I just treated all of the interior leather with the BMW Leather Care Kit (about $15 at the local dealer)
