Pics: Just had Dinan Cans Installed...Like 'em

Just got back from TKX performance where Rich and Taso cut off my stock cans and put on the Dinans.

Got the mufflers from BMW of Fremont - cannot say enough good things about them. Everything was as expected and smooth as silk.

The install was also top-notch with no surprises, mishaps or delays.

Here are some pictures of before and after in no specific order.

I was going to do the Magnaflow 14816 with custom stainless pipes behind the resonators but after receiving them, I came across an incredible deal on the Dinans and sent the Magnaflows back to Summit.

The sound is pretty mellow in normal driving with zero added resonance in the cabin. On startup, idling and high load acceleration there is a substantial difference in sound (deeper and louder)

Nice!

We just installed a Supersprint X pipe with Dinan mufflers on a customers 2000 M5 and it now sounds very aggressive from the outside. Good thing is that there is no droning inside the cabin.

Yes, I have before and after clips revving and before clips driving but have not yet done after clips driving. The files are also large and I don't know how to post them.

Looks good. That winter weather beatis on cars. BTW - Why'd you go with BMW of Fremond instead of a local Dinan shop?

the stock exhaust needs to be cut in order to install the dinan exhaust. i thought they were bolt-on?

the dual oval mufflers look good! isnt the dinan exhaust just a refurbished/ modded stock can?

Yes, all exhausts behind the cat require cutting.

No, it's what you see here.
