Front PDC not working!

Hi everyone, I found another issue with my new 2001 M5 and need your help again. I did search the board but did not find a definitive answer to my problem. The front PDC does not work at all. The dealer advised me that the front bumper was removed, painted and reinstalled. An educated guess would dictate that a central wiring harness was not reconnected? Otherwise if it were an individual sensor, then it alone would not work? I assume they are not connected in series?.
Does anyone know what and where this part is located and is this a DIY job?
(And before you ask, the dealer is out of province so I can't just return it to him, but he did say he'd pay for the repair).
Thanks ...
