I felt like Cole Trickle coming out the pits

I've not had my car that long (4 months). The SES light has been on/off a couple of times and I popped into my local indy BMW garage to have diagnostics done and was advised that the fault was a CPS issue on inlet bank 2 ( I had alsorts of errors codes from CPS, vanos to O2 faults - The indy advised me that these could all be caused by the CPS fault). Read this forum and inlet on bank 2 is the only CPS that is not really a D.I.Y job (just my luck). The CPS took 12 days to arrive (on back order). Had it fitted yesterday afternoon (which was a 2 hour job). All I can say is the CPS must have been on its way out before I bought the car because its now pulling like a train. When I got the car back I hit the motorway and pressed the loud peddle 'move over Mellow Yellow is coming through'. I'm well chuffed. Now if I'd have visited a $tealers instead of an indy then they'd have had my leg up for O2 sensors, Vanos units and anything else they fancy charging me for. I can't wait to go out for a run this weekend now were at full power. (I must remember my speed camera detector)

Let me drive Harry. I won't make a fool out of you

Turn three is really threacherous..Whether its hot or cold, it gets as slick as a button. Before you know it, you'll slick and slide and slam yourself into the wall

Loose is fast and on the edge, you're out of control

If you think its luck, let's do it again

Tim tells me you've been running open wheels

I'll give you an engine, low to the ground. An extra big oil pan to cut the wind from underneath you. A fuelline that will hold an extra gallon of gas, shave half an inch off you and shape you like a bullet. And once you're painted and weighed, you'll be ready to go out on that racetrack, you here me, you will be perfect.

perhaps I saw that movie a few times too many

Strap one of these babies to your rear end....

Methanol...mechanical fuel injection 1100 lbs....140mph at the end of the straights... Oh and then you turn left and do it all over again..... 5/8 mile & 20 second lap times.....Quicker than a Nextel car on the same size track
