I almost joined the family today

So I've been looking for a black/black beast for a long time (I'm looking to buy used). I found one today, at the price that I'm able to afford with only 39k miles. The guy sent me pictures, the car looked really really clean...

Then he told me that the car had been in a really bad accident before where the front left was hit and there was frame damage. It was welded again, but my heart was already broken! I really don't think I'll be buying the car now.

Guess I'll have to wait a little longer to enjoy the fun with you guys. =(

Sorry to hear. Sucks that the accident was one of the first things mentioned... Surprised its not salvaged..
Dont forget to do, at a minimum, carfax report (pm if need one) on whatever your looking for. Hopefully reveal if anything is bad. Also post on the ask-a-dealer forum on bimmerfest.

Goodluck on your search!
If you interested in a blue/black with blue/black interior let me know

Close call. Good that the guy mentioned the accident. Best not to have taken that one, surely your day will come. Be thankful to have swerved it.

NeONDaRoO,

If patience is a virtue, you must be one of the most virtuous people around. Man, you've been signed up on the board much longer than a lot of folks (including myself). Good luck on your search. Check out the for sale section if you haven't already. There's some nice rides out there.

Bob

haha Hey Habu,

around the time i registered here, I was in college and I had dreams of becoming successful and owning an M5 back then. Then I went through a tough financial struggle (welcome to real life!) and had to put my M5 dream on hold.

I actually recently started shopping again and registered for this site, only it told me i was already registered......this was like waking up from a long dream =P

i'm fiending to be sitting in the driver's seat soooo bad...

cheers

Drew

edit: thanks MMMach5! i'll contact him =)

+1 I saw the car in the for sale section. Looks really nice.

Never mind, I didn't read all the posts. Looks like you already have.
