OT - My office is on Wall Street ...

...about half a mile from the WTC. Fortunately, my colleagues and I are all fine albeit badly shaken by yesterday's events. It was unbelievable to hear the periodic rumbling like distant thunder and then be enveloped by an ugly dark swirling cloud strewing paper and light debris over everything. It was a bright sunny day that turned black as a moonless night.

One of my neighbors worked on the 32nd Floor of Tower 1. He and his coworkers skeedaddled at the first hit. Walking down the stairs, they passed firefighters heading up who urged them on to safety. He says he'll never forget the faces of those young men who undoubtedly perished when the building collapsed. Another neighbor, whose wife just had their third child a few months ago, was on the 104th floor. He is still unaccounted for.

Words can not convey the emotions we feel. 'nuf said for now. Thanks to all of you for your thoughtful sentiments and support.

Tom
