Nice pics Greg! I really like the shape of those Audi R8. They look nice and fast!
Congrats to BMW for sweeping the GT category!
P.S. Which LMP car had the nicest sound?

Jet - "nicest" is so hard to define. The Audis and the Cadillacs are very smoth and relatively quiet. The Panoz, on the other hand, makes a V8 racket like no other. It is quite a sound. Actually, the sound at the track was awesome all day long. I recorded some with my video camera - haven't had a chance to see how it came out yet....

And, as you can tell from the picture above, the Vipers are hopelessly slow this year...
The Panoz has that big-iron V8 rumble, about the same volume as the Saleen GTS car but quieter than the Corvettes.
The BMW M3GTRs have a nice zing to them, but it doesn't kick your spleen around at 400hz like the Detroit V8s.
The normally-aspirated Porsches...well, I think calling their exhaust note a 'blat' is being kind.

Is it true the Vipers were sand-bagged this year?

I like the GT40 type paintjob on the #18 Audi R8.
P.S. look at that Viper completely sideways at the top of the corkscrew!
