Battery 100ah or original 110ah ?

new bmw battery 110ah cost 300$
varta or bosch 100ah cost 140$ (both don't make 110ah)

is it ok to install 100ah ???

Should be fine, it's just that with 100ah you will shorten (by a little bit) the time that you can leave the key on w/o the engine running.

I would compare the CCA ratings as well and be sure they are close. The initial start up is what you should be most concerned with and the load put on the battery. If I remember right, the BMW battery is around 650 CCA.

I have a 100 Ah battery in my car. Zero problems so far (knock-on-wood).

The 100 Ah battery is probably slightly smaller. You will need to secure the battery with something (preferrably not too flammable) to keep it from sliding sideways when you corner hard.

Also you want to make sure the vent hose connector is on the same side as the BMW branded battery, so you can run the vent hose the normal way to the tiny hole at the bottom of the left side of the battery compartment.
