Dinan Exhaust Question

Does anyone know if the Dinan exhaust system includes resonators?
Would a group buy for the Dinan (or any kind of Dinan product for that matter) be possible beyond the 10% offered by some dealers?

Jinferno, congrats on the new exhaust purchase. How much bigger are the Dinan tips vs. the stock tips? Can you tell the difference in power?

Rahim,
i can without a doubt tell the difference....(they do come with resonators btw)...the car growls...i was stopped at a light the other day when this ricer pulls up at says "what the hell do you have in that thing"..i laughed and said "STUFF!" and punched it down this long straight away and took this corner at about 50 ( it was a 45mph zone!...don't want to start that thread again!) and went about my business...bottom line...worth the quid!

Hey J,

Good to know that the Dinan's come with resonators. I have them on my beast and can relate to getting stares - man they are loud! Love the look that I get sometimes when I crank her up at the gas station after a fill-up.

jinferno et al,

Thanks for the info, I feel the Dinan is going to be my choice, esp with my dealer being a Dinan distributor....I think they are going to sound much better than stock

jinferno,

The price was 1900 with install?? i always thought that was the no install price. Was it done at a Dinan/BMW dealership or from an aftermarket place?

Sorry to disappoint all of you guys but the Dinan exhaust does NOT come with resonators! You'd just be using the stock BMW resonators. The only exhaust option that I can think of that does come with resonators are the Tubi ones and Supersprint sells those separately. You could go with the Dinan exhaust and get the Supersprint resonators.
