$20 BMW mag, Z8 motors, and other questions
Stopped by Barnes and Nobles this weekend while waiting for mother-in-laws stereo to be installed (early xmas present). I picked up a $19.99 European BMW magazine. I will say it now, SHAME ON ME for not noting what the name of it was...
It was basically a giant Hartge and ACS advertisment. Compared a E39 ACS 5er to an M5, an ACS Z8 vs a stock Z8, but the ACS was the 4.4l X40i style motor.
Did the Z8 come with multiple motors in Europe? I have only seen it with the S62 here in the states.

Also, does Hartge just have a plethora of S62 motors laying around? The magazine had I think 3 Hartge V8 5.0 motor swaps, a 3er, a 1er, and a Z4 I think it was. What next? An S62 BMW C1?

As for ACS, they showed a nifty little intake for the S62, I cant find anything online about it, have they stopped making stuff for the motor? Anyone have info on the stuff they used to do to the motor? I think it was rated at 450hp (could have been a Hartge at that though)

Z8's came with the Alpina edition B10 engine (more expensive, limited, switch tronic) and the Z8 with s62 motor...I'll try to check that magazine...
