I found that one on Youtube as well. Not quite sure how the Porsche caught up so fast. Probably not stock. The M5 broke away nice and clean.

I wondered the same thing till the speedo said 341km! So that just over 210mph. for a car that goes that fast it sure got dropped quickly by the BMW's.

There is no way that porsche would have caught up that fast. If you guys notice it was runing 1.2-1.3 bars of boost. Stock they run about 1 bar. The porsche might have been slightly tuned. That video clearly does not do justice to neither m3 nore m5. Still a nice video though.

This is insanity.

If you are to run like that, do it off public roads. The consequences are too grave to go this fast or anywhere near that at night with cars around. Can you imagine what will happen if there is the slightest hiccup ?

it could have been a 911 gt2 which can do over 200 mph and get there very quickly.

I have never been particularly impressed by people driving fast on straight interstate highways. I would much rather see someone go around a 15 mph mountain switchback at 50. Driving 200 mph on an interstate requires idiocy and money, not driving skill.
