Too many things to do for just a day, but the Deutche Museum of technology is awesome.
As for the beast, you can pretty much get here whatever Euro parts you want, like Euro floating rotors, and besides, they're heavy, anyway.
But if you want to install an M5 trailer hitch (it's very low capacity, so don't get too excited; might be useful to trailer your track wheels and tires), you can only get them in Europe.
A Mk IV DVD Nav unit that speaks German could be cool, too. There is one with an English accent, but what I'd want (that no one makes) would be English spoken with a soft German accent, like James Bond's 750iL in Tomorrow Never Dies. But, before you plunk down your Euros, a U.S. Nav can be modified with software to speak different languages, so getting the Nav shouldn't be much of a priority.
Have a safe trip.

"Is it the sounds that make a BMW a BMW? A BMW is designed to be heard, felt, experienced. So our engines sing. Our steering talks back. And we insist on offering manual transmissions in nearly all our models for drivers who crave them. The result is an almost telepathic oneness with the car. Just as surely as you can hear a BMW, a BMW hears you."
