Are central control wheels backlit?

Over the NAV screen are two control wheels for the central vents and a third in the center for blending hot and cold air. Are these controls backlit on your car? It's fairly hard to locate them at night because that part of the dash is so dark. Since it's been like that since I bought the car, I can't tell whether they are suppose to be backlit or not.

Thanks.

I just wanted to be sure a bulb wasn't out when I bought the car.

Some light in that area behind the controls could have really helped.

Not backlit, but the red lights from the ceiling light mine up.
