the "parking" sensor and the steering makes a funny noise, why?

Well the thing with my m5 is, sometimes when i put in reverse, the peeping from the parking sensor starts, sometimes it doesnt at all.. is there any reason for this? can it be dirt that has covered the censors or is it just not working correctly?

and the second when i turn the wheel maximum to the left ( i dont know if its the same if i turn max right) i get a weak noise from the steering wheel, sounds like someones choaking a mouse or something, does anyone know what that might be? is it the servo or...?

thank you for your help.

As for the parking sensors i had a similar fault on my 530i, i tried cleaning the sensors but it didnt work so put it in to bmw and it turned out i had 1 faulty sensor which they replaced and worked fine.

all power steering systems make a slight nice on full lock both left and right but not excessive noise.

I wouldn't recomend turning the steering wheel all the way to the stops since it puts too much stress on the pump and overheat the fluid
