275s just installed on the front

Just wanted to let everyone know that I just had the stock 9.5" rims and some new Toyo T1Rs put on the front of my car. Looks awesome!

Drive is fine it just feels like it is always on the sport setting. Couldn't really take any turns as it was kind of wet out and the back tires are in need of replacement.

Anyone find any black BMW bolts in a longer length? The shop that did the work for me only had shiny chrome bolts in the longer length needed. I went to a VW dealer got some black caps but they are round so I am still not happy with the look. Any help would be much appreciated.

Rob.

Luke's bolts are silver, or they were when I bought from him.

I don't notice the silver anymore.

Have fun, play with the tire pressures to dial in the under/over steer once you get new rears...

"Is it the sounds that make a BMW a BMW? A BMW is designed to be heard, felt, experienced. So our engines sing. Our steering talks back. Just as surely as you can hear a BMW, a BMW hears you."

+1. I got rid of the bolts and put studs in. Much easier swapping tires. I have a set of the long bolts floating around my garage somewhere if you need them, PM me. But I would recommend going to studs of the proper length.
Regards,
Jerry

scuff them up and try prime/paint black...either that or buy the silver ones from Luke and paint those.

I have the silver ones right now, I would just take them off, clean, scuff, and dip in some black paint. The pics in my gallery show it from the side...they do look a little odd, but you have to look for them...of course now that I look, that is all I see when I look at the pics....great...now I'll have to paint em...

i just rubbed mine (from tire rack, silver metal) with a scotch brite pad and shot them with some flat black spray paint. It does eventually chip off, if you take the tires off frequently, so you may have to redo it eventually, but it's quick, cheap and easy, and looks fine.

Thanks for the suggestions and ideas guys. I was thinking of the paint thing also but I didn't think of the scuffing up part. I will give it a try when I get some free time (busy with work). Leather Z wants $29 to ship the $20 cap kit to Canada.

Any suggestions for tire pressure? I don't go to the track, its just for street use.

Thanks again,

Rob.

I go with 2 psi more up front. 41/39 works. For track I'd dial it down a bit.
