Question about tires

Recently, I have noticed tire screetch when doing a right or left turn leaving an intersection and all of that with the DSC on as well as sports mode turned off. We have 23000 kilometers on the pilots and I was wondering if that's a sign that we'll have to replace them soon? Thanks for any help!

P.S. I may sound blind but where is the wear indicator?

it is possible to have tire noise before DSC kicks in.

Check your pressures - my tires make more noise as the pressure gets lower.

Wear bars are part of the tread. USUALLY they are "bars" running across the grooves, and, although not quite as deep as the grooves, deeper than the main tread. When the tread wears down so that the bars are flush with the tread surface, it is time to replace. You CAN go further, but your grooves will no longer function, severely impacting wet handling.

Thanks for the help Greg. I'll go check that tire pressure right away.

Also, DCS won't keep your tires from screeching when you're travelling sideways
