Yesterday Im heading down south to Powerchip from Bakersfield. Reflash my car. About 3/4 of the way down there I notice the nav arrows blinking then pointing the wrong way then it starts saying im on a different street. Now it says on the screen correct destination not possible. I updated to the new nav over a year ago with no problems. One thing also is my car rides really rough on trips (H&R coilovers) it will wear you out. Another matter though. Ive taken the DVD out and reinserted it but nothing. (2005-2 version) If anybody has some suggestions it would be greatly appreciated.

are you running a mk4? Try disconnect/reconecting it. Wait until it powers down first. I've had a few quirks with my nav, seem to be temp related. If i'm taking a long drive, in hot weather, i leave the pannel open to the nav/audio area in the trunk, which has seemed to help.

Make sure the antenna connection didn't come loose. If your car rides rough, maybe the vibration caused it to work itself loose. Does the GPS see the satellites?
Ive had this twice since I upgraded to V71 of the OS..... what version of the software are you running?
IF you check the service menu for the GPS you will see that the version is listed as 0.0.0 (or simmilar) rather than the 1.2.18 (or whatever its suppose to be)
