M5_SMG Member, Sport: On DSC: Off Join Date: Apr 2005 Location: Thailand Garage: E39 Silver Sales Feedback: (0) Thanks: 0 Thanked 0 Times in 0 Posts	Single or Dual Throttle Body Setup Anyone thought of pulling all the individual throttle bodies and just mounting a single or dual throttle bodies at the front of the plenum were the intake pipes enter? I know you will lose responsiveness and that the throttle bodies are electronically controlled. However, if you were going for a light race style setup with an aftermarket ECU you could pull the throttle bodies (perhaps fit different velocity stacks) and remove all flow restriction in this area. Then fit oversized single or twin-throttles (90mm perhaps) to the front of the plenum, install good old fashioned cables and a regular accelerator pedal. Thoughts in regards to how you think the engine will feel/respond?
