Will 20" E46 rims fit on our M5's? They are DPE's...They are not for the M3 just off of a 330Ci...I figure they will fit as the bolt pattern is the same and I am running 20 x 10 in the back now and they are only 20 x 9.5...please let me know your thoughts....

No...but its worth try with the use spacers...

It all depends on the offset that you have on the 20's the e39 m5 stock wheels if i'm not mistaken is 23.6 (front) 25.6 (rear)...btw if there from an e46 non M i think they won't fit...

well that sucks....I was almost there in buying these rims....anyone else have some thoughts?
I had an M3 with OZ Superleggeras and no they dont fit. They offset is different. spacers will not help. You would have to machine the wheels to match the offset (space b/t the bolts). Never have done it but it sounds like a pain and I assume it messes with the integrity of the wheel.
Yes just checked with my mechanic and he gave me the no go....I like the 20's as they fill the wheel well nice and tight without having to do coilovers. Thank you for your help with these questions....
