I went to the San Diego autocross on 7-28 and it was a wonderful day for driving enthusiasts.
Due to my non early arrival I did not get to drive this time.
(But thanks to a kind instructor, I did get to go on several ride along laps!)
However the day was still a huge success and it was a good chance to chat with some fellow M5'ers as well as other car people.
The next SD Autocross event is Saturday October 13th. Francios and Paul C. have both committed to joining me in driving that day. I would like to challenge other M5 owners to show up to drive or lend moral support. I will create a reminder thread for that as the event nears, but if you want more info email me.
Anyway, I shot some video on the 28th of others driving and have made a windows media file of some of them, including a Z8, two new M3s, a M6, a Z3, and something else ???.
The compression is pretty high on this, so I'll apoligize in advance. Even so the file is pretty big at 63 meg. (Please if you want to watch it, download it first to keep bandwidth usage on the server to a minimum, thanks)
