Background information on VANOS system?

Hi,
Everybody well anybody has vanos system info,should be in pdf.any helpful input would be appreciated.thanks in advance.

I had seen in forum archeives,there is link with lots of technical info in pdf,i can't find that too now,anyone knows that?please.....

If you can't create one, you may want to call BMW and see if they can help you out. It will take some doing and you will have to find someone that knows that the hell they are talking about in order to find it.

Mine was replaced under warranty in 2003 but I still dont have a clue what it is.
