Help with Clutch Stop Install

Opened up the packaging that came with the Rogue Clutch Stop, all excited to do this easy install, and I feel that the instructions are somewhat lacking.
I would appreciate all feedback on this install; trim removal etc.
Is there an OEM clutch stop in all M5s NA and Europe? I can't locate one.
Thanks for the help.

Nothing at all to it, right behind the clutch you will find the nut and washer holding the oem stop, take it out and put the new clutch stop in, simple as that.

So I should be able to see the clutch stop (OEM) without removing any carpet or trim? I am uncertain if I even have a clutch stop?!

Yeah, just stick your fingers back there and you'll feel. Just unscrew the OM stop and put the new one in. However, be advised that some adjusting of the new stop may be necessary to ensure the starter activates. The clutch depression must go down far enough to allow the starter to activate. If it fails to activate, begin the correction process by removing the washer(s); if stil doesn't engage, you may have to saw off some of the Rogue stop's threaded shank so that you can screw it down far enough. No big deal just a little trial and error. Good luck.

I don't have the starter issue with the clutch. Must just be a NA thing.
So you had to lift the carpet then to get at it?

No need to lift the carpet as the OEM one is on top of the carpet.

Actually, they all have a switch thats pressed by the clutch pedal arm. If you install the new stop, and dont thread it in enough, the switch wont be depressed and the car will not start (however all of the accessories will be switched on).

There is no lifting of anything really, just open the drivers door and kneel down. Look behind the clutch pedal, and you will see a black plastic stopper w/ a rubberized top. Simply turn it counterclockwise to remove it. Then set the jam nut on the new stop and thread it in. Then get in the car, press the clutch, and try to start it. If it starts up right away; you can try adjusting the stop up a bit more until it wont or just leave it as is. If it wont start, you will need to remove the stop, and reset the jam nut until you can depress the clutch and have it trip the switch. I had to file ~6.5mm off of the threads to get it to fit right.

Thanks for the feedback. It looks like the clutch stop, and the switch are Nth American only. There is no visible stop under the clutch on my floor, and I can start the car without depression the clutch pedal.
I will investigate further on the weekend when I have some time to remove trim and look at the floor.
Thanks all.

It may be possible yours broke off. You still should be able to see or feel a plastic stub buried in the carpet if so. If I recall, its a few inches above the bottom of the pedal.

It should contact just before the pedal curves towards the driver. Also, it is made of plastic, so its entirely possible that it did break
