          My pic contribution

I followed this thread many moons ago and bought up the parts here and there, and finally got it all together. I used BBP's initial post and pics as a guide, bought a 3" intercooler piping kit from eBay w/silicone hoses and t-bolt clamps + 2 AEM filters. I mocked it up, and am finishing up now (replacing all blue hose w/black). I have driven it for about two weeks with this setup - it is quiet, that is for sure. I did a tweak on BBPs setup in that I cut out the foglight surround so that more air could get to the filters. I have a boatload of pics, but here are a few to start:

Finished my CAI today. Took way too long. Still need to wire up the IATS relocation kit. Mounted the sensor, but ran out of time. Did the brake duct also.
Seems a quicker from the line and 20 till redline in third. The car flies!!!

the screen helps direct the airflow so the maf can get an acurate reading.if you remove it the air will be too turbulent and the reading will be all wrong.

how come the Dinan MAF housings don't have screens?
does the software takes care of that or is it that the Dinan intake smoothens the airflow before it reaches the MAFS
I was always wondering about that

i have not seen a dinan maf housing in person, but i believe they have a ventury shape that smoothes the airflow. anybody with more experience care to chime in?
