Attention Houston M5 and surrounding area folks:

Mark (MAH on our board) will be in town next week and will be available for dinner and drinks on Thursday August 9th. We will likely meet up somewhere around the Willowbrook Mall area? I will post exact loation and time later when we firm it up. There are several good restaurants in that area, and it is relatively easy to get there - via the Beltway 8 and 249 nearby.

Details to come. Should be fun!

There is a new restaurant called "Babin's" (Cajun and Seafood) right across 249 from the mall, just off Greens Road. How about we meet there? if you guys are all up for some good seafood?

Once everyone is in agreement, I will call to make reservations? so.. please let me know at least by Tuesday or Wednesday next week if you are planning to make it?

I will try to send out emails also, in case some folks are not watching our board?...

Great, sounds like we should have a few folks able to make it! I will post directions to Babin's for those who are not as familiar with the Houston area.

BTW: there is a large parking lot there ...so there should be plenty of room to park the BEASTS!! and of course, take a group photo!

ok gang, in case I missed some of you on my email earlier today?

here are our plans for this coming Thursday evening:

Take Beltway 8 towards George Bush airport (if coming from the west side) and turn north onto Tomball Parkway (249). Get off of 249 just prior to 1960 at the Green's Road exit. Go through the red light at Green's.. take a left at the next red light just before getting to 1960. Go under the overpass and about 1/2 block down on the left is Babin's. It is part of a large new development which also includes several other restaurants and a strip mall center.

When: 7:00pm ( I will plan on being there around 6:30pm in case anyone would like to join me for drinks?)

I will of course bring my digital camera to take some pics.

Looking forward to seeing many of you there. Please RSVP to me at amenard@cisco.com if you ARE going to be making it, so I can have an accurate headcount for dinner?
