SoCalJD..I take it you barter legal services. Hmmm...I have those to offer here but it would take another twenty years for something as progressive as a barter group to reach teepee land. My indie mechanic at least provides upon request separate invoices for actual work (which come to me at the office) and greatly discounted "wifey" copies (which I casually leave around to throw her off ). Let's see...Valve cover gasket labor for $75...what a deal!!! Hehe. That way, I avoid the Manolo Blahnik shoefest that she pulls after one of my big mods.

What with the shoes and purses? My Wife went to town with purses when she found down how much it costed me to built my Ducati 999R racebike to superbike-spec.

ITEX is nationwide. I highly recommend it. Yeah, it's kinda like play money to me, and something the wife doesn't know much about. That's why I wanted to try to have a fabricator make me some barter headers. No problem sneaking that past the wife. BIG problem sneaking $10k Dinan's past her. Still no estimate on this paint work, but if I was paying $2500 *cash* it wouldn't be getting done.
