Recommendations for sub & amp installation? (San Jose, CA)

i have a kicker solobaric and ample amp sitting around, so i thought i'd throw it in the beast. i've searched through the threads and the install seems pretty straightforward the right equipment to convert the signal.

just wondering if anyone recommends a shop in south san jose to do the install. i recently got my sirius and dice install done at AMS and they did a pretty good job, but they are a little on the $$ side. Anyone have another shop they like and can handle the DSP connections?

BSW: i read your thread about the sub and amp install and was wondering if the two converters you mention in the thread applies to a DSP install. if not, could you post the links for what I would need. thanks.

Yes, the converters mentioned would work, but they may or may not be needed depending on the amplifier. Does the amplifier have speaker level inputs? If you're not sure, call me at 678.608.2615 (or e-mail me at mdc@bavsound.com).

Micah: I totally forgot about the high inputs on most amps. I'll double check mine, but I'm pretty sure I have it. duhhh....i haven't installed a speaker system in awhile, but i should've remembered that. I'll look up the specs and see which wires i can splice into on the DSP amp. I'm sure it somewhere in the forum. Thanks!

If you need the wiring information, just let me know. Also, BE SURE that the high level inputs on the amplifier can take the output power the factory amp produces for the factory subwoofers (around 50W / channel). Otherwise you certainly run the risk of damaging your amplifier.

Yep, but I'll need an e-mail address. PM it to me so it's not publicly exposed.
