Metal Analysis

Does anyone know of a company that performs metal analysis to end customers? Something like what Blackstone does for fluids, but for metals?

I've got a severly damaged sparkplug which appears to have been defective and resulted in severe engine damage. I want to obtain an independant engineers report on the condition of the metal, damage and generally what their conclusions are; so that I can take this back to the manufacture for compensation. Any help or idea would be appreciated, cheers!
