"The BMW head designer Chris Bungle yesterday decided to hold a press conference to defend himself. Mr Bungle has been very critizised for his unconventional, not to say ugly, design of the upcoming BMW 7-series. Mr Bungle stated that he had gotten the idea for the design after he frequently read complaints on the internet messageboard at
www.bmwm5.com where a lot of BMW owners frequently and loudly complained about the difficulty of getting slower traffic to move out of the left lane. A BMW study was launched and indeed a lot of BMW owners found slow traffic in the left lane to be big problem. After thinking about the problem Mr Bungle decided that he had to do something and he grabbed his favorite pencil and decided to draw something so ugly that no one would be able to look at it for more than a couple of seconds.
Mr Bungle: -My idea was that people would instantly move to the right lane so that they wouldn't have to see the 7-series nose in their rear view mirror. test shows that my theory was correct. People imediatly vacate the left lene when they see you coming. I have made this design to please the
www.bmwm5.com clientele and what to I get in return? They are sending letters to my bosses complaing and wanting me fired. I have only one thing to say to them. Please stop. I do not have time to talk to my bosses about your complaints all the time. I am busy working on an even scarier design for the next 5-series.
