I'm afraid that a quicker throttle response and less steering assistance are the only things it does - but I think, to great effect.
Sport off, DSC on and you have a comfortable, well built & smart saloon with loads of power.
Sport on, DSC on and you have a fast, responsive supersaloon that won't throw you off the road just because your last name isn't Schumacher
Sport on, DSC off and woohoo  it lets you play like Tiff Needel.
