Ie, how many of you guys have practically been screwed over by a woman who is already in a relationship, wasting your time by trying to be your 'friend'?
Hope that makes you feel better.
Does it count if she is in the relationship with us?

i was at this event some months ago and saw this girl that i really wanted to talk to. never got a chance to do it (ok, i never got the ballz to do it). not a big deal though, i had completely forgotten about her.
fast forward to yesterday: i am going home and took a different route to drop something off for a friend. i get caught at a red light (i was on the bike full gear) and my eyes caught a nice short skirt. i start checking her out and got a really good view of her front and back as she crossed the street right in front of me. two seconds later i realize it is the same girl from paragraph one (i am usually very good with remembering faces). to make things even more weired she is with a guy who i also know. i thought about pulling over to talk to them as i had an excuse now (i know the guy) but decided against it...
oh, well. chalk that off to two opportunities lost and i only have myself to blame. but what are the chances that i would cross paths with the same chick twice - and both times completely randomly.

It's too bad you were on your bicycle. If you were in your M5 you might have had a better chance.(Kidding-I see your bike listed in your sig)
Well, be it known that the stats, records, and psychology show, a woman who is in a relationship is just as likely or even MORE likely to 'flirt' than one who is single. Women think flirting is 'harmless'. Men feel differently. NOT!!..Ladies...NOT!!!!

Much agreed, a woman that has been in a long relationship, is just looking for a "friend" or better stated an ego boost!

I think you have to be a decent looking guy as well. As the VW commercial states something about I am ___ for my short comings (the guy in the yellow ferrari I think), some guys just get NICE cars to fill in the gaps for their short comings. So Michael feel good it wasn't just the car probably.
As someone said, once you are married, it is scary to get involved with women who just see you for your car. To them it seems I look like a big $ sign (not that I have that much $$ to begin with). So it makes one wonder, what are they really after?

That doesn't work for us super young guys. Around this part of the country, if a young-ish girl sees the M5, she thinks older guy, probably a doctor.
I barely get a single look-over from attractive girls at stoplights with the M5. I've had some pretty lewd gestures from them in the M Coupe, however...
