Is everyone Getting Black Calipers????

I have been looking all over for the Stop Tech kit that fits with the OEM wheels with Black calipers and I have been told by all that there is a 3/4 week back log .....however if I want red/yellow/silver no problem??? What gives??.....and my guy spoke to Mr. Zeckhausen also and no dice...I did'nt realize Black was so popular....anyone know where to snatch a kit???
Regards

Can't help with the kit. I thought about black, ordered silver and then worried if I made a mistake. Silver is pretty stealthy, so it turned out fine for me.

I actually had mine installed by Dave Z. the man himself, and he gave me the choice of just about any color (he actually also let me switch from the originally ordered slotted disks to crossdrilled). He recommended Black if I was going to do the fronts only as anything else 'would have drove me crazy' (colored fronts stock rears). Well, for one I know that one fine day I will be putting StopTech rears, so that didn't bother me. I chose red and I love them. I think a lot depends on the color, on my Carbon Black the red is awesome, Silver would have been great too, but Yellow would have been screaming for too much attention.

On my prior car, I had the Brembo Gran Turismo BBK in black and I always regretted not getting it in 'color'.

BTW, speaking of StopTech rears, did they finally come down in price? For those that are unaware, StopTech was using...Brembo disks for the rear until the development of their own finished. Naturally, Brembo was charging them a steap price, but I anticipate a $300 or so price drop on the StopTech rear kit (2 piston caliper that fits over stock rims) once those are rolled out. Dave?

It is not red, but I don't remember exact color. It may be a combination of white letters outlined in black. I will check for you.

silver has white lettering, to my recollection, on the three silver sets of stoptech's I've seen.

Being a new carbon black owner I'd love to see shots of your red calipers on your car! Can you post/send any photos?

beeautiful- i love that look. Although I am a bit partial to red brakes. I noticed you had Brembos on your prior car- why did you go with StopTech and are you happy with that choice?
